Our ice cream is great!
The Sisler family has been making ice cream for 100 years! They know what they're doing. Started by George Sisler in tiny Ohio, Illinois, the ice was cut from a local pond and sold for use in home ice boxes and packed around their gourmet ice cream to ship it year round. In 1957, George retired, and son Bill took the helm until 1993. Bill's son "Billy"and friend Dan Thompson have worked at Sisler's since high school. Learning the business through observation, they were joined by Bill's daughter, Karen Anderson in 1993. Today, the Sisler family continues to share their passion for making tremendous ice cream. We know you're going to love it!

Our coffee is great!
AJ's proudly features Jumpy Monkey Coffee, the "coffee with a cause." Jumpy Monkey is hand-roasted from individually selected beans from around the world in Sioux City, Iowa, by individuals with disabilities. Opportunities Unlimited purchased the Seattle-based Jumpy Monkey brand for the purpose of providing meaningful and purposeful employment to persons with disabilities. It is roasted and packaged daily and shipped directly to AJ's. We know you will enjoy this roasted gourmet coffee. For more information about our featured coffee, contact: www.jumpymonkey.com.

From AJ's kitchen our menu is from "scratch." The concept of AJ's has always been to bring you the highest quality food made fresh. With a full kitchen and bakery in the store, you can enjoy some of our original and delicious breakfast items, like the "Cinnful" cinnamon roll, the Stuber Quiche and, of course, our homemade breads baked daily. For lunch, enjoy the "Allison" or the "Henderson", fresh salads that we know you will love. Our signature sandwiches are "The Moofy," The Eggs-Cellent, and our chicken salad croissant. All sandwiches are served with our seasoned homemade pita chips or your choice of side dish. Please stop by and enjoy breakfast and lunch indoors or outdoors at AJ's Cafe.
