Position Details:
- Ensure proper packing, labeling and staging or orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy storage areas
- Ensure all information is labeled correctly
- Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers and other team members
- Stock and inventory prescription medication
- Works well in a team environment
- Portrays the company in a positive image
- Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
Skills:
- Must be registered with the applicable state within required time period and certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within one year of date of hire
- Certification needs to be current and renewed as necessary
- Must be detail oriented and precise
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Education:
- Certification required within one year of date of hire by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Certification must be renewed every two years
