Hartig Drug is a registered pharmacy able to accept flexible spending account (FSA) payments for eligible products.  A flexible spending account (FSA) is one of a number of tax-advantaged financial accounts that can be setup through the plan of an employer.  An FSA allows an employee to set aside a portion of his or her earnings to pay for qualified expenses as established by the plan.  The most common type of FSA and that which would be used for expenses at Hartig drug would be a medical expense flexible spending account (FSA).  A medical expense flexible spending account is used to pay for medical expenses not paid for by insurance.  These expenses usually include deductibles, copayments, dental expenses, vision expenses, prescriptions and health care supplies.*

By using your pre-tax flexible spending account (FSA) to pay for prescriptions and eligible health care items at Hartig Drug you can save money because of the tax savings benefits of using a Flexible Spending account.
