Position Details:

Essential Job Functions

 Dispense prescription medication to patients

 Provide information about medications and help patients understand the instructions their doctors provide

 Provide information and make recommendations about over-the-counter medications

 Monitor the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy

 Works well in a team environment

 Portrays the company in a positive image

 Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer

Experience:

 Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college

 Valid pharmacist license which must be in good standing with the state pharmacy board

 Must be detail oriented

 Must be able to communicate well with patients and staff

Skills:

 Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy staff

 Ability to administer immunizations is required

Education:

 Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college

 Thirty hours of continuing education every two years
